Trent Ling’s preached and recorded message, “Anything But Grumbling” arrives into the website’s podcast library today.
Though the list of Biblical evils and no-no’s seems to run a bit long, lack of gratitude and grumbling probably top the dubious charts. Just one look around or a moment’s consideration or reflection should spur on thankfulness from each and every person. But, such seems not to be so easily the case for many, both in and out of the Kingdom of God.
“In ministering the Gospel, I have usually employed the working assumption that people love God, want to do good, and are ready to go,” Trent explains. “However, I have often found that many have given themselves up to chronic complaining and have steadfastly refused to pick up their mats to get on with the show. Ultimately, a grumbling heart makes the living of any Scriptures nearly impossible. And, in God’s eyes, a grumbling heart appears to be the worst of conditions. Those so located desperately need a change of venue, ASAP.”
This message features the reading and preaching of the following Scriptures:
Numbers 14:26-29
James 5:9
Lamentations 3:38-42
1 Corinthians 10:23-24

I agree totally with you, Trent. Everything is permissible, but not all thing is beneficial; you made the decision, please…. do not complain! Anything but grumbling! The scariest thing is… the only one listening to your grumble is God! I recommend all of you to listen to this message. Seek the good of others 🙂
