Trent TV: The People Part

Against human trends to cut corners and diminish responsibilities, today’s Trent TV installment demands that all people acknowledge upfront, wrestle out as necessary, and prevail ultimately in building lives that appropriately interact with others.  Preschoolers are called to it.  Why not adults, especially those supposedly in the Faith?

“Like those I read about in the Gospels, my first inclination upon learning incredible and deep truths was to give it to others,” Trent recalls. “I knew that I had simply been blind before God opened my eyes.  I also knew that everyone that I knew was also completely blind, and that they needed exactly what I had just been given.  This giveaway never changes, and God so demands such recognition to be proven by our very lives and actions.  We are stuck with each other.  We had better do what the Bible has to say about it.  And ultimately, such should be our very hearts anyway.”

Trent TV: The People Part — 3 Comments

  1. What a great rebuke and such good solid truth. It was said all so perfectly, no room to budge, really good for me and for anyone willing to listen. Crazy, but it was revealing to be reminded of what disciples do. If we are to be like Christ we will love people. Man, this reminds me of my first days being a disciple learning and loving to need people, need the ministry, and need a backboard relationship with God where I demand power as he sends answers faithfully right back at me at all shapes and sizes. Thanks brother, this is the food I need. Fellowship I give up and look…I’m drained spiritually, cool! God proves his word. Again, very nice words. Its like a 60 minute message sunk into three minutes.

    Love you,

    Chad

  2. Hey, it’s great to have “time alone with God” when you use it to read the bible and pray like Jesus went up to a lonely place to pray. But when you said I’ll have my “time alone with God” so you can get away from ministry, you are in trouble! 🙂

  3. I am busted, wanting to get away again, ‘to work it out with God until I get more healthy spiritually then I’ll see you’. Thank you for reminding me. Thank you God.
