Turning the Page

The Road to Cairo, Egypt 2009: Some bridges lead to unseen destinies. Some pages turn toward uncharted territories. Starting today, the United States and its largely untested modern-day peoples begin scooting along these spooky inevitabilities as the previously built buffer zones have now already been expended.

From Trent Ling:

Barack Obama has slimly defeated Mitt Romney for the United States’ Presidency.  Republicans retained the House of Representatives and Democrats maintained control of the Senate.  Nothing has really changed.  Over time, both short- and long-term, an unavoidable onslaught of matters will cry out and come due for resolution.  They will likely only be delayed further to appease small people growing ever smaller.  All of the festivities will be what they will be.  In any case, the ball to watch and the game to play will reside elsewhere.

President George W. Bush’s 2004 re-election will go down in history as the Republican’s final Presidential triumph, barring some emasculating retrenchment of what had once been the Grand Old Party.  As Romney’s squeaky-clean candidacy could not overcome Obama’s utterly woeful economy and weirdly suspect foreign policy, there exists a zero percent chance that any genuine Republican candidate will ever win the White House again.  Notwithstanding that newsworthy tidbit, the next race to watch will be run upon a far distant course across more exacting terrain.

An innovative narrative containing sizable ideas befitting our Creator will usurp these relatively small developments.  This website and its ancillary sources will weigh in rightly and heavily going forward.  None of it will have to do with sheer politics, human compromise, or the omnipresent reduction of the calling of man.  Rather, it will hearken back to an awakening and a renewal, innately resident in the hearts and minds of man, and now demanded from Heaven.

In due time and across a spectrum of relevance, drums of tough medicine, bouquets of lead balloons, and other original disseminations of freeing truths shall begin their enhanced emanation from this website.  But for now, on this day, may everyone gather a very deep breath, pray earnestly for everyone else, and humbly brace for the One who brought us Hurricane Sandy not only to effectuate and fully exclaim His verdicts in Election 2012 in America, but to cajole each at his or her very core.

  1. Congratulation to our President, Barak Obama! Another four years. May we all, always, give thanks to God for what he has given us for our own good.

  2. You are correct, Pat: People want freedom from righteousness, but deep inside God has put in our heart to differentiate between what’s right and what’s wrong, what’s supposed to be done, what’s not, what’s natural, what’s unnatural. We know it, a little kid knows it! Yet, as we grow older, we lose more and more sensitivity. I know it from my own life, up until the day I saw what really mattered in this life–in this short life on earth–because some things were just beyond my control, but not beyond God’s. But, it takes humilty to make that happen.

  3. It’s up to ME! It’s up to me to train my children in the way they should go (Proverbs 22:6), it’s up to me to shepherd & love my wife (Eph 5:28), it’s up to me to educate my children in their best interest, it’s up to me to fortify my life fiscally to provide for my people (1Tim 5:8), it’s up to me to love my children and to be the coolest (otherwise someone else will), it’s up to me to hold out the Truth within my household and outside my household as it edifies others (Joshua 24:15). It’s up to me alone to solidify my relationship with God in order for all these words to come true. Despite what the Bible teaches, I have not had a solid & noble plan (Isaiah 32:8) that has proven to protect my family from external absurdities. This will change!

God has proven that he will let the people have what they want despite the potential outcome. People want freedom from righteousness; congrats, we have freedom and this is what we’re doing with it.
