For those who have a consuming zeal for the house of the Lord, not being able to seek glory for themselves is not bad news at all. Unfortunately, most find it unacceptable to have to take a back seat to the glory of God.

I ache when I hear this. Our God has given us everything and gratitude should be overflowing us always. There can’t be any room for me in the picture of God and me. For too long I have lead such a self-centered existence and His mercy, kindness, love, and tolerance continues while He burns up the remains of me that cannot exist with Him! Praise God!
